Abdus Selim
Abdus Selim (b. 19 September 1945) is a translator and academician. He has been engaged in translation works since 1975. He has translated Abu Ishaque’s Surya Dighal-Bari into English which is published by Bangla Academy and has published in newspapers and magazines innumerable translated poems, short stories, essays, fiction and plays both in Bangla and English. He was one of the pioneers of film society movement in Bangladesh. Abdus Selim received Bangla Academy Award in translation.
